Yaesu System Fusion / Wires-X
The Larkfield Amateur Radio Club’s 448.675 MHz W2LRC repeater supports Yaesu System Fusion (C4FM) digital voice and is part of a network of five Long Island Fusion repeaters normally linked through the WB2WAK Wires-X Room (21846).
When connected to the WB2WAK Room (21846), digital traffic is shared among the following repeaters:
| Callsign | Location | Frequency | Offset | Tone |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WB2WAK-W | Glen Oaks | 447.025 MHz | -5 MHz | DPL 516 |
| WB2WAK-E | Plainview | 447.975 MHz | -5 MHz | DPL 516 |
| WA2LQO-ND | Hofstra | 146.745 MHz | -600 KHz | PL 136.5 |
| WA2LQO-ND2 | Middle Island | 447.350 MHz | -5 MHz | PL 136.5 |
| W2LRC | Hauppauge | 448.675 MHz | -5 MHz | PL 114.8 |
All five repeaters operate in AMS (Automatic Mode Select). Analog signals are repeated locally as analog, while digital C4FM signals are repeated digitally and carried across the linked Wires-X network. The repeaters are not linked to one another during analog operation.
Scheduled Wires-X Connections
The W2LRC 448.675 MHz repeater automatically connects to several other Wires-X rooms for scheduled nets throughout the week:
| Day | Time | Wires-X Room |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday | 8:00 – 9:00 PM | KC-Wide HF & Antenna Net (28054) |
| Monday | 8:27 – 10:30 PM | MNWIS Fusion Tech Net (21493) |
| Wednesday | 10:00 – 11:30 PM | KC-Wide Hotspot / Pi / SBC Net (28054) |
| Thursday | 9:00 – 10:30 PM | KC2RC Fusion Net (40821) |
At all other times, the repeater is connected to the WB2WAK Wires-X Room (21846) by default.
Users may also connect the repeater to other Wires-X rooms. Doing so temporarily disconnects W2LRC from the WB2WAK linked repeater network. The timeout is normally set to 30 minutes, after which the repeater automatically returns to WB2WAK Room 21846.
For Larkfield private conversations, you may switch to the WB2CMF Room 60958.
Reception reports are always appreciated.
Thank you for helping us improve the LARC repeater system.
